Invisible City, the new full-length album by New York City's Wetnurse, hits stores today in CD and double LP formats on Seventh Rule Recordings.
With eight tracks clocking in at almost 50 minutes, Invisible City was recorded and mixed by Martin Bisi (Swans, Helmet) at B.C. Studio in Brooklyn, NY, and was mastered by Alan Douches (Converge, Mastodon) at West West Side Music. The cover art was created by acclaimed New York art group, Lansing-Dreiden.
Revolver Magazine has described Invisible City as "anarchic noise-punk-grind-Southern-rock-core scary enough to have you seeking out the succor of mom's teat."
Decibel Magazine has described Invisible City as "an impossible-to-pin-down mix of AmRep-referencing sludge, death metal, galloping instrumental movements and classic NYC noise rock."
Wetnurse hits the road this week for a US tour in support of Invisible City. Joining Wetnurse for most of the tour is Orlando, Florida's Khann (Metal Blade Records/Black Market Activities). Also appearing on select dates are Skeletonwitch, Light Yourself On Fire, Plague Bringer, Complete Failure, Romans, No People, and more.
