FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: SEVENTH RULE TO RELEASE ATRIARCH DEBUT

Seventh Rule welcomes Cascadian deathrock ensemble Atriarch to its stormy roster.

Hailing from Portland, OR, vocalist Lenny Smith describes Atriarch as “a living entity comprised of four parts, offering catharsis through sonic ritual where there is no god, there is no devil; there is an all encompassing force that connects all living things.”

Comprised of members from Graves At Sea, Trees, Final Conflict, and Get Hustle, Seventh Rule will release "Forever the End," the first full length by Atriarch, in the coming summer months. "Forever the End" was tracked in Portland with the help of William Holloway then mixed and mastered by Greg Wilkinson (Ludicra, Asunder, Saviors) at Earhammer Studios in Oakland, CA.

In the meantime you can hear a track from “Forever the End” at the Seventh Rule Facebook Page.

THE SWAN KING "EYES LIKE KNIVES" REVIEWED ON LAMBGOAT.

"Eyes Like Knives is a good slab of noise rock that, while certainly on the heavier side of things, devotes more focus to slick guitar work and catchier rock melodies. Both fans of the old standards (The Jesus Lizard, Unsane, et al) and the new school of throwbacks will find something to like."

EXTREMELY COFFINWORM RELATED: DEADMEN 7" AVAILABLE

Our Indiana friends have sent us more copies of the DEADMEN "POSSESION OF THE VOID" 7" EP. Featuring members of Coffinworm and Lair of the Minotaur, this record slays. If you haven't picked it up yet, here is your chance.

Aesop Dekker / Cosmic Hearse said it best:
"Imagine later Entombed meets Dazzling Killmen (remember them?) meets some later Killing Joke, yeah, bitch, it's that good. With Deadmen, the aforementioned Coffinworm, Kata Sarka, and World Eater, Indianapolis may go from being known for auto racing, drunk driving killer cops, and shitty meth to being the next great scene in the U.S. for dummy pummel sludge metal. Seriously, this fucking kills."

BEFORE YOU GO GUILTLESS, START FROM THE BEGINNING.

Originally released in 2005, and with the CD out of print and the vinyl only available here, its only fitting that we make INDIAN's debut 'The Unquiet Sky' available through BANDCAMP for your enjoyment.

'The Unquiet Sky' was the 5th release Seventh Rule put out and it still holds as one of our favorites. During the Mastering process, a call was made to Alan Douches to discuss how loud we wanted this record pushed. We told him we wanted it to sit as one of the loudest records in people's record collections. He had recently finished Converge's 'Jane Doe' and Jake Bannon had told him something similar, so he gave 'The Unquiet Sky' the same treatment. While we feel the two albums sound nothing alike, both of the albums are loud as hell and will push your speakers to extremities. Enjoy.

Indian's THIRD full length 'Guiltless' will be released by Relapse Records on April 12, so get your pre-orders in here.
